| NC leaders welcome govt initiative on employees | | |

Jammu, Feb 18- National Conference leaders have welcomed the decision of the Government to constitute Cabinet Sub-Committee to negotiate with the agitating employees who are demanding implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission.
In a statement issued here today, the NC leaders have made a fervent appeal to the agitating employees to cooperate with the government and maintained that the party and the coalition government under the leadership of Omar Abdullah was committed to implement the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission.
They said with this agitation the common masses are suffering and expressed confidence in agitating employees that they will appreciate the problems being faced by the common people. The NC leaders were also of the opinion that the government will take positive decision on the demands of the employees.
The signatories to the statement were Ajay Sadhotra, R.L. Gupta, Kr. Rachpal Singh, Abdul Gani Malik, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, T.S. Wazir, Aijaz Jan, Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari and Javed Rana.
