UDHAMPUR, Jan 16: Govt. Degree College Neeli Nallah Udhampur witnessed a spirited celebration of National Youth Day w.e.f January 12th to 16th 2024 . The program was attended by students and faculty members. The event, held under the patronage of the college Principal Prof. Hans Raj. The programme commenced with a dignified rendition of the National Anthem. Dr. Maansi Sharma, delivered a lecture that developed into profound importance of commemorating National Youth Day, its significance and the pivotal role of youth in the multifaceted task of national development. Prof.Hans Raj graced the occasion with insightful words, shedding light on the indispensable role of youth in the national building. His words resonated with inspiration, instilling a sense of purpose among the gathering. Prof. Shaista Yasmeen NSS PO actively engaged the students, urging them to embrace an active role in society. A series of activities took place to celebrate youth Day Yoga for fitness of youth, Students took part with great enthusiasm in games like Chess, Badminton and Volleyball. Prof. Shaista Yasmeen was the convenor of the programme.
