| SSP holds SMAC meeting at district HQRs Doda | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, Jan 16: In view of upcoming Republic Day-2024 celebration and religious event, SSP Doda, Abdul Qayoom-JKPS today on 16.01.2024, chaired a SMAC meeting at District Hqrs which was attended by officers of Army, CAPF and other sister intelligence agencies working in the District.
The aim of the meeting was to assess the present security scenario of the District and to work in coordinated manner by all security / intelligence agencies in the District. All the officers of Army, CAPF and other intelligence agencies shared their views, suggestions and assessment on the present security scenario of the District. A threadbare discussion was held on the present security situation and other aspects related to security and various suggestions, measures and strategies were taken to put in place a joint and effective mechanism for efficient monitoring and security surveillance on ground.
SSP Doda emphasized upon the officers to ensure alertness and vigil in their areas in view of upcoming Republic Day-2024 celebration and religious event. The officers of Army/CAPF were advised to exercise effective surveillance and monitoring by way of intensifying patrolling and area domination with special focus in and around the locations where Republic Day functions would be held. The officers were also advised to exercise effective surveillance on social media so that anti-social elements, rumor mongers, mischievous persons may not succeed to create any disturbance to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the District.
All the officers assured that all the security /intelligence agencies in the District will work in coordinated and synergized manner so that all the security agencies are on the same page to handle any kind of situation effectively. |
