| Notorious absconder apprehended by Domana police | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 16: In a significant breakthrough, the diligent efforts of the Police team at PS Domana, under the able supervision of SP Rural and SDPO Domana, resulted in the apprehension of a long-evading fugitive, Gian Chand. The arrest was made pursuant to the issuance of a general warrant under Section 299 Cr.PC by the Hon'ble Court of 3rd Adll. Munsiff JMIC Jammu.
Gian Chand, son of Kharati Lal and resident of Bajighar Basti Vill. Bachyal Jaswan Tehsil Marh, had been on the run for an extended period in connection with Case FIR No.405/13 under sections 454/380 RPC at PS Domana.
The accused had successfully eluded law enforcement for an extended period, prompting heightened efforts to bring him to justice. The dedicated team, working under the overall supervision of SSP Jammu, successfully tracked down Gian Chand, who was known to be evading arrest.
The arrest marks a significant milestone in the relentless pursuit of justice by the law enforcement agencies. Gian Chand will now be presented before the Hon'ble Court of law, where legal proceedings will follow to address the charges against him.
