| Hindi Divas celebrated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | SEPT 20 The students of Govt. Women College parade today organized a ‘ Hindi Day’ in collaboration with J&K, ‘Rahstriya Bhasha Prachar Samiti’ here today. Speaking in the occasion the former vice-chancellor of university of Jammu, Prof. M.R Puri, who was the chief guest, said more steps should be taken for the promotion of Hindi in the state. Former H.O.D Hindi Prof. Om Prakash Gupta presided over the function. On the occasion a book ‘Dev-Bhomi’, by Vijay Laxmi Sharma was released on the occasion. A two minutes silence was observed in my memory of B.Com Ist year student Kumari Sonali Chopra, who was killed by some un-known person at her residence. Among other present were Jatinder Udhampuri, V.K Gupta an others.
