| Rahul portraits attraction in Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 19- The Congress party seems to have launched its Lok Sabha campaign much in advance in Jammu and Kashmir. On Thursday huge billboards with larger than life images of Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Dr Manmohan Singh pasted on them surfaced at several places. Along with pictures of charismatic Congress leaders, a simple message was written in one corner of the poster, urging voters to support Congress for peace and prosperity. The poster with images of Rahul Gandhi was repeated at several places across the city and the message on the same read as "Ateet ki neev pur bhavishya ka nirman". The posters were aimed at attracting attention of the 'aam admi' towards the slogans of the Congress party in the run up to the Lok Sabha polls and build a mass campaign to generate a wave in favour of the party. Large number of passersby, motorists and 'aam admi' on day one were impressed to see aggressive campaign strategy of the Congress party, especially in Jammu, where it recently lost majority of seats due to its flip flop on the Amarnath land transfer issue.
