Kathua DC makes difference, goes sight seeing with Balashram children

KATHUA, FEBRUARY 19 -With a view to provide solace to the Bal Ashram inmates , DDC,Kathua, Ms. Mandeep Kaur visited Jasrota and shared pleasurable moments with them who were on excursion. She distributed sweets and fruits to the destitute.
Ms. Kaur urged the inmates to work hard in their studies to succeed in the present day world of competition and merit. The educational and picnic tour of 51 children of Bal Ashram, Kathua was arranged by Department of Social Welfare, Kathua to Jasrota Mata, Ujh barrage and other adjoining places.
The children presented some Dogri songs on the occasion and also interacted with the DDC.
Ms. Mandeep Kaur also inspected the working of Ujh Barrage. She interacted with the officers at Barrage site and enquired about its functioning.
Later the DDC visited Ravi Tawi Irrigation Canal site at Jasrota.
