| Police recover,01. 09 grams of heroin got recovered by One peddler arrested. | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 21:
Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 09 grams of heroin from one accused person in the area under the jurisdiction of PS RS Pura.
A police team of PS RS Pura led by SHO PS RS Pura while on naka duty at Agra Chak area under the jurisdiction of PS RS Pura rounded up a suspected person later identified as Sadiq Ali @ Kaka S/o Saraj Din R/o Agra Chak Tehsil R.S Pura Distt. Jammu who was coming from Agra Chak towards Old Shiv Temple on a vehicle bearing Registration No. JK02DG-1574. On search, 09 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
In this regard a Case FIR No. 21/2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act got registered in PS RS Pura and the accused got arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
