Kavinder Gupta Unveils Virender Kapadia’s Dogri Song ‘Jammu Da Shahar’ to Promote Traditional Duggar Folk Culture

Jammu, Jan 27:

In a move to celebrate and promote the rich traditional Duggar Folk Culture of Jammu and Kashmir, Z-Trakz Production unveiled the audio-video song titled ‘Jammu Da Shahar,’ sung by the talented Virender Kapadia. The song’s release took place at the Daily Taskeen Office in Partap Mohalla, Taskeen Building, Jammu District.
The chief guest for the event, Sh. Kavinder Gupta, Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, inaugurated the function. The guest of honor included Jenab Sohail Kamzi, a veteran journalist, Shree Raj Kumar Gupta ji, President Goraksha Samiti Amplhalla Jammu, and Sh. Surindar Singh Gill ji. The event was meticulously organized by Rajeev Salotra, a renowned singer/musician from the state.
The audio-video song, released under the banner of ZTrakzs Music Productions on YouTube, features Atul Malhotra and Mariyum Malik as the main actors. The music for the song was directed by Shahi Kapdia, with creative direction by Tushar Sharma, and produced by Anju Bala.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Kavinder Gupta expressed his appreciation for Dogri Folk songs, highlighting their popularity during festivals and special occasions across the Jammu region. He emphasized the unifying power of folk art, transcending religious, caste, and community boundaries.
Gupta commended the team for their efforts in promoting the cultural heritage of the region and acknowledged the significant role played by folk theatre in Indian socio-cultural scenarios. Virender Kapadia, the renowned singer, presented a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude for the support received in promoting and preserving the cultural legacy of Jammu and Kashmir.
