UDHAMPUR, Jan 27:
The District Administration Udhampur hosted a heartfelt farewell function yesterday evening to honor the outgoing Additional Superintendent of Police, Mohammad Anwar-Ul-Haq, on his transfer.
DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Mohammad Suleman Choudhary, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, Senior Superintendent of Police Joginder Singh, RDSLR Nawab Din, Additional District Development Commissioner, Ghan Sham Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Joginder Singh Jasrotia, PO Poshan Subash Dogra, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, Chief Planning Officer Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar, along with other senior officers from the District Administration and police, as well as prominent citizens, graced the occasion. Addressing the gathering, the DIG and Deputy Commissioner highlighted the commendable contributions of outgoing officer during his brilliant tenure in the district. They extended best wishes for his future endeavors. All the officers commended his efforts in combating the drug menace and maintaining peace in the district, besides emphasizing his unwavering support and cooperation to the civil administration in maintaining the law and order and eliminating the social evils.
The general public of the district has also highlighted his community policing and adjudged him as one of the best police officers.
The officer has not only earned the admirations for rendering his services in the district but had a meritorious record in the past as well. He had been honoured with first bar to President’s Police Medal for Gallantry and a JK Police Medal for Gallantry for his exemplary work in the counter insurgency.
As a token of appreciation and affection, felicitation gifts were presented to the outgoing ASP by the district administration at the conclusion of the event. |
