Army Goodwill school students of Batalik on educational tour

JAMMU SEPT-20-
To provide quality education to the children of remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir, to enable them to become responsible citizens and groom them to face the challenges ahead, the Army under Operation Sadbhavana has opened several goodwill schools across the state.
With a view to expose the children of the desert region of Ladakh to the grandeur economic progress and diversity of the country, an education tour has been organized for 38 selected students of Army Goodwill school Batalik region to Delhi and Agra.
The tour was flagged off from Leh two days back, arrived here last evening .The young students interacted with the GOC Tiger Division here before departing for Delhi. The visiting students besides visiting Delhi, Agra and some other historical places would meet the senior Army and civil dignitaries including Chief of the Army staff. This is the maiden trip of the students outside Batalik region and it would be a lift time experience for them.
