Jammu, Jan 27: In a vibrant celebration marking the 75th Republic Day, the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Pharmacy organized a colorful program centered around the themes of “Viksit Bharat” and “Bharat- Loktanra ki Matruka.” The college premises were adorned with patriotic fervor as students of Pharmacy actively participated in the event.
The festivities commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by the Director, Mrs. Heena Jamwal, who took the opportunity to enlighten the students about the rich and diverse culture of the country. Emphasizing the importance of judicious use of available resources for the benefit of future generations, Mrs. Jamwal encouraged students to be mindful of their role in preserving these resources. Following the flag hoisting ceremony, students presented patriotic debates and songs, adding a cultural touch to the celebration. The program’s success can be attributed to the efforts of Mr. Adil Hussain, Mr. Dinesh, Mr. Shamsher, and other members who played a key role in its organization. The event concluded with a speech by Mr. Ayush Katoch, the Director, shedding light on the significance of democracy for citizens. The spirit of unity and patriotism was further enhanced with the distribution of sweets among the attendees. |
