Awareness camp on Road Safety held at Narwal

JAMMU, Jan 29: In line with the ongoing National Road Safety Month, Team Regional Transport Jammu under the direction of RTO Pankaj today organized a Road Safety Awareness Program at Narwal Jammu. The event aimed to sensitize the general public and drivers about the importance of safe driving and adherence to traffic rules. During the program, more than one hundred drivers were educated about the road safety norms. Assistant Regional Transport Hq, Rehana Tabassam emphasized the significance of different traffic rules and urged the stakeholders to acknowledge their responsibilities towards better traffic management and road safety. MVI Surinder Kumar, highlighted that while changing driving behavior may take time, education remains the key to achieving this transformation. The event was organized by Everest Transport Company and is a part of a broader initiative to promote responsible driving practices and reduce road accidents. M.D. Rakesh Chander Gupta welcomed and appreciated the M.V.D for organizing camp for drivers at Narwal.
