| Observance of silence on 30th Jan (Martyr's Day) at GDC Samba | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, Jan 30: The students and staff of SPPND GDC Samba observed two minutes silence on 30th Jan in the memory of those who sacrificed their lives during struggle for India's freedom. The students were briefed about Shaheed Divas and encouraged to remember those who fought with bravery for the independence of the country. The students were made to realize that this day fills the hearts of Indians with great pride. This day marks the saddest day in the history of India's Independence struggle. The day is observed every year to pay homage to the unsung heroes of our nation and the freedom fighters who laid their lives for independent, sovereign and liberal India. |
