| Bovine smuggling attempts foiled | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Jan 30: Udhampur Police rescued 30 Bovines and seized 03 vehicles used for bovine smuggling. Team of Police Station Majalta foiled two bovine smuggling bids in which 26 bovines were rescued and 02 vehicles (trucks) bearing registration number JK02AG 6497 and JK02CA- 2385 seized from battal nakapoint. Accused persons (Driver) of the both the vehicles fled away from the spot after leaving behind their vehicles on road.
In this regard, two cases FIR No. 11/2024 and 13/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Majalta. Another bovine smuggling case, in which 04 bovines were rescued by the Police team of Police Post Tikri from the cluthes of bovine smuggler and vehicle (pickup truck) bearing registration numberJK19-6771 seized. Accused driver namely Mohd. Asif Ali S/O Mohd. Yaqoob R/O U.P A/P Bari Barahmana, Samba got arrested.
In this regard, a case under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Rehambal. |
