Unlicensed land, property brokers out to ‘loot’ people
‘Deliver justice to victims; book, arrest culprits, confiscate their assets’

Jammu, Jan 30: Unlicensed land and property brokers who allegedly “deceive” numerous individuals are emerging as a threat in Jammu and Kashmir.
A politician took to X and posted: “These brokers have formed a network involved in widespread cheating. They pose a threat to innocent people as they are pursuing a mission of exploitation and loot.”
He wrote: “Legal action must be taken against these unlicensed brokers who are operating illegally. They should be booked according to the relevant provisions of the law and promptly arrested. It’s crucial to halt the menace of looting and exploiting innocent individuals in Jammu and Kashmir. The innocent people are falling into the trap of these brokers and are losing their properties.”

The politician urged the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to order a probe and get the dealings of these unregistered land brokers investigated. He tagged his post to NIA, LG Manoj Sinha, Union Home Minister’s Office and Prime Minister’s Office.
