Grand Shobha Yatra Planned to Celebrate 647th Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj

JAMMU, Feb 1: In a significant development, a meeting of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Satsung societies/sabha's was convened at the premises of Gurudwara Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj Bahu Fort, Jammu. Chaired by Er. Natha Ram Angral, Vice Chairman of Shri Guru Ravi Dass S.S. Trust Sikanderpur Jammu, the meeting unveiled plans for a grand Shobha Yatra scheduled for 18-02-2024, commemorating the 647th Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj.
M.L. Banalia, General Secretary of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Satsung Society, disclosed key agenda points during the meeting. Chairman Er. R.C. Basin of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Bishnah announced that the procession would commence from Khothi Morh Bari Brahmana and conclude at Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sukhsagar Bhawan Sikanderpur via Bishnah.
Over 55 Presidents and General Secretaries of branch sabha's and societies pledged their participation in the Shobha Yatra, ensuring a vibrant display of colorful Jhankies along with the Sangat.
Er. Natha Ram informed the gathering that the Shobha Yatra, slated for 18-02-2024, would be conducted under the aegis of Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj. The 647th Prakash Utsav celebrations are set to take place on 10-03-2024 at Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sukhsagar Bhawan Sikanderpur Kothey.
Prominent personalities present at the meeting included Sham Lal Basson, Prof. C.L. Shivgotra, Krishan Lal Sangral, Sardari Lal Bangotra, Des Raj Sangral, Sher Chand, Pathi Ashok Kumar, Sub. Bachan Lal, Capl. Ashok Kumar, Capt. Harbans Lal, Bothe Raj Banalia, Col. Mohan Lal, Nitu Kumar Er. Joginder Paul, Ashok Kumar Thapa, Ramesh Chander Sangral, Pt. Ashok Kumar, Sita Ram, Jagat Ram, Milkhi Ram, Dr. Buti Ram, Madam Kirshna Bangotra, Er. Surinder Devgowda, Moti Ram Angral, Rangesh Hans, Kuldeep Raj, Gopal Dass Capt. Puran Chand, Capt. Tarsem Lal, Ramesh Chander, and others.
