Early Times Report

Baramulla, Feb 1: In a recent executive meeting held in the sub-division Pattan of Baramulla District, Shabroz Malik (TV9) has been elected as the Interim President of the Media Welfare Association Pattan.
The meeting saw active participation from credible and qualified journalists, resulting in the formation of an interim body to oversee the affairs of the association until general elections are held.
The newly elected office bearers include Ubaid Malik (Early Times) as Vice President and Mohsin Khan (KNS) as the Spokesperson of Media Welfare Association Pattan. The decisions were made amicably during the general meeting, where it was agreed that the interim body would determine the future course of action until the general elections.
Emphasizing the importance of qualifications, the Media Fraternity members stressed that only qualified and educated journalists, holding at least a post-graduate degree, would be allowed to participate in the election process. This decision aims to ensure that individuals with the necessary credentials contribute to the Media Welfare Association.
The newly appointed Executive Members, Shabroz Malik, Ubaid Malik, and Mohsin Khan, are set to take on their responsibilities immediately.
The Media Welfare Association Pattan is expected to play a crucial role in promoting the interests and welfare of journalists in the district of Baramulla
