SAMBA, Feb 2: The Department of Hindi in collaboration with the Department of Sanskrit under the aegis of Viksit Bharat @2047 committee of the college organized a symposium on the topic "Viksit Bharat 2047 ki aur Drishti evam Pragti." The whole event was conceptualized under the able guidance of Prof (Dr.) Twinkle Suri, esteemed Principal of the college. The function was attended both by the students and the staff of the college. A large number of students participated in the symposium and shared their views at length about the vision of our honorable Prime Minister as to how to make India a developed country by 2047.
Prof. Shobha Gupta, Head, Department of Mathematics was the chief guest on the occasion. While addressing the gathering, she highlighted the main points like sustainable development, technological development and so on pertaining to vision and the mission of Viksit Bharat @2047.
In the symposium, Mansi Sharma bagged the first position, while second and third positions were taken away by Shallu Sharma and Neha Sharma respectively. The event was adjudged by Dr Deepa Mattoo and Prof Samriti Manchanda. Prof Rashi Gupta, Prof Anju Sharma, Prof Seema Sharma, Prof Sarabjeet kour, Prof Anupma Sharma, Prof Sunita Devi and Dr. Shaveta Gupta were also present on the occasion. Dr. Neelam Devi conducted the proceedings of the function whereas Dr. Ravi Kumar concluded the event formally. |
