| Notorious drug peddler booked under PITNDPS by police | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 2: An information was received at PS Domana regarding one notorious drug peddler namely Gagandeep Singh S/O Paramjeet Singh R/o Ajeet coloney, Talab Tillo, Tehsil west, District Jammu, who is involved in number of drug peddling cases in Jammu District and spoiling the life of young generation by selling drugs for his personal benifits and his anti-social activities are pre-judicial to the maintenance of public order.
On this special police teams of PS Domana led by SDPO Vishal Shoor assisted by SHO PS Domana Inspr Sushil Choudhary raided at the suspected place and arrested the notorious drug peddler.
It is pertinent to mention that a warrant of arrest under PITNDPS vide order No. PITNDPS 13 of 2024 dated 01.02.2024. Under Section 3 of
Prevention of Ilicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,
1988 read with SRO 247 dated 27.7.1988 issued by Divisional Commesioner Jammu.
Also accused is habitual of indulging in illicit trafficking of psycotrophic subastance and having close links with other criminals of UT J&K. The details of the cases are as under :-

Case FIR no. 38/23 U/S 341/323/382 IPC of PS Bakshi Nagar
Case FIR no. 60/23 U/S 8/21/22/29/60 NDPS Act of PS Miran Shaib
Case FIR no. 302/23 U/S 8/21/22/27 NDPS Act of PS Domana.
The overall arrest is made under the supervision of SP Rural, Jammu Sh. Brijesh Kumar Sharma.
Finally today the warrant is executed and the accused was sent to Distt. Jail Kathua. |
