| Hideout busted, cache among one Kg explosive recovered | | Two militants killed in Gulab Garh area | |
JAMMU SEPT-20- Acting on specific inputs, the Security Forces busted a hide out at Darosh in Doda while it recovered huge cache at Bhela in Mohor and Muchakka in Bimber Gali today. A Defence spokesman said that based on a input from a surrendered militant about dumping of arms and ammunition at a hide out, the Forces launched a search operation in village Darosh 13 Km North West of Doda and busted the hide out and recovered three boxes of RC IED, one detonator and one Antenna unit. In another similar operation based on the information of Territorial Army battalion a cache wrapped in polythene and buried underground was recovered from Bhela 3 Km of Mahor in Udhampur district. The recoveries made include one 36 HE grenade, 12 rounds of AK ammunition, one Kg explosive, one feet Cordex and one CD battery charger. The spokesman further said that Army during patrolling in the wee hours today observed movement of an individual in the general area of Muchakka Forests 2 Km East of Bimber Gali in Poonch district. On being challenged the individual ran into dense forest taking advantage of poor visibility and thick undergrowth. However, during search in the afternoon the column recovered some ammunition hidden under a rock. The recoveries include seven AK magazines, four Chinese hand grenades, one Radio set, one mobile phone, a pouch and a blanket. The search operation was in progress to apprehend the militant who had fled away, the spokesman added. Meanwhile, today a joint party of police and Army killed two militants at Gulab Garh area during encounter in Udhampur district. According to sources party booked specific information of hidden some militants in jungle area of Gulab Garh and launched a massive search operation in the area. During search operation militants who hidden in the area opened fire on searching party Security forces also retaliated in which party manage to kill two militant their identification has not be find out as last report came and search operation on in the same area.
