DLL inaugurates a workshop on computer skills

JAMMU, Feb 5: Employment Information cum Advisory Bureau (EIAB), Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu today inaugurated a 3-day workshop on Computer skills at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Bazar Qasaban, Gujjar Nagar, Jammu for the students of the school. The theme of this three-day workshop is to provide computer-based knowledge to students, which will help them to become proficient in handling computer-based activities.
Kamlesh Bhagat, principal of the school, expressed in her welcome address the need for computer skill development programmes for the students of the school, as it helps to build a strong foundation for them. She emphasised the importance of digitalization in this new era. She also appreciated the efforts of the Department of Lifelong Learning to organise this workshop. The workshop was organised under the guidance of Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, Director, DLL and was coordinated by Dr. Rewa Khajuria, Counsellor, EIAB, DLL. The resource person was Mr. Sanjay Manhas from the University of Jammu. Around 30 students have registered for the workshop.
