MVD Ramban spreads road safety awareness at Sangaldan

RAMBAN, Feb 5: In line with the ongoing Road Safety Month, the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Ramban today organized road safety awareness programme here at Sangaldan. The aim was to highlight the importance of road safety practices and inform the public about the department’s initiatives.
DC Ramban, Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary, commended the Motor Vehicle Department’s proactive steps in enhancing road safety.
He emphasized the collective responsibility in ensuring safer roads and encouraged continued support for such initiatives.
A road safety pledge, highlighting the shared responsibility for safer roads was taken during the programme.
ARTO Ramban, Samrinder Singh sensitised participants about various online services and schemes provided by the Motor Vehicle Department for public convenience. This interactive session aimed to familiarize attendees with these schemes and enhance understanding of the department’s efforts to improve road safety.
Addressing the gathering, ARTO Singh stressed the ongoing need for road safety awareness and encouraged everyone to follow traffic rules and drive responsibly.
Pertinently the Road Safety Month initiative by the Motor Vehicle Department is an important step in promoting safer roads and reducing accidents.
