| Constable fires at Inspector in Kathua, arrested | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 20: In a shocking incident a selection grade constable posted in Kathua on Friday morning opened fire on one of his senior officers after verbal brawl between them took an ugly turn.
According to official sources, a selection grade constable identified as Mangal Singh on Friday morning attacked sub inspector Raghubir Singh at the end of the verbal brawl between them.
The senior officer escaped unhurt as Mangal Singh failed to target him. Official sources said that the selection grade constable was unhappy with his senior officer and was not ready to discharge duties he was entrusted with. He first brought the issue into the notice of senior officer but when he failed to get justice he took extreme step. .A formal complaint has been lodged against the selection grade constable Mangal Singh and charges have been framed against him.
