GDC Sainik Colony Hosts Insightful session on MBA Career Paths

Jammu, Feb 6: The Psychological cum Career Counselling and Placement Cell of GDC Kunjwani / Sainik Colony recently organized an enlightening session on “Career Options in MBA,” spearheaded by the esteemed Principal, Dr. Ravender kr. Tickoo.
The session commenced with a warm welcome extended to the resource person, Aryan Verma, an alumnus of NMIMS Mumbai, who shared valuable insights into the diverse career avenues associated with pursuing an MBA.
Dr. Tickoo commended the efforts of the Career Counselling and Placement Cell, urging students to hone their skills to enhance their employability across various sectors. He stressed the importance of setting clear goals and actively pursuing them to achieve success in their chosen career paths. During the session, the resource persons provided detailed information on MBA career options, accompanied by a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation. They also guided students on the registration process, preparation strategies, syllabus, and exam patterns for entrance tests like CAT and MAT. To further enrich the learning experience, a mock test was conducted, allowing students to gauge their readiness for the challenges ahead. The event was expertly coordinated by Dr. Arti Pandoh Gupta, Convener of the Psychological cum Career Counselling and Placement Cell, along with Dr. Bhavana Sharma, Prof. Deepa Sharma, Dr. Ashaq Hussain, and Prof. Bushra Nizami. The proceedings of the program were skillfully managed by Shubham Choudhary and Lakshita Singh Chib, students of Semester VI, who ensured the smooth execution of the session.
