Jammu, Feb 6: Government MAM College emerged triumphant in the Inter-College Wushu (Men) tournament organized by the Cluster University of Jammu at the University of Jammu. The event witnessed fierce competition among participating colleges, with Government MAM College securing the coveted trophy.
Dr. Ranvijay Singh, Dean of Students Welfare at Cluster University of Jammu, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director of Physical Education & Sports, Cluster University of Jammu, was honored as the Guest of Honour. Under the guidance of Dr. Vinod Bakshi and Smt. Neelam Chalotra, Assistant Physical Director of Government MAM College, the tournament showcased exemplary performances from participating teams.
Government MAM College clinched victory by accumulating 16 points, securing the top position. GGM Science College earned the runner-up position with 12 points, while Government SPMR College of Commerce secured the third position with 9 points.
The presence of esteemed dignitaries including Sh. Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director of GCOE Jammu, Sh. Ravi Kumar, Physical Director of Government SPMR College of Commerce, and Smt. Kajal Premi, Physical Director of GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu, added prestige to the event. The match was officiated by Sh. Kamal Kishore, Atul Sharma, and Abhishek Jamwal, ensuring fair play and adherence to regulations throughout the tournament.
