| GDC Udhampur organises poetry recitation on drug de-addiction | | |

Udhampur, Feb 6: NCORD Cell of Govt. Degree College, Udhampur organized a Poetry Recitation in collaboration with Department of Music and Urdu under the guidance of Worthy Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta and Prof. Shobhna Samyal, Convener of the NCORD Cell of the College. Worthy Principal of the college exhorted upon the students to play their role in spreading awareness among the masses as this is an immediate need of the hour to eradicate the drug addiction ‘A menace’ from the society and students can play an important role to aware the adductors. In this context Mr. Nikhil Brahmnu, Mr Akshay Mr. Sumit Akhil and other students of the College recited their poems on this topic to create the awareness among the students of the college. Prof.Sanjeev Kumar Hod Urdu and Prof.Samosh Kumar Hod Music Coordinated the program. Prof Samosh Kumar also revealed that the problem of drug addiction is spreading very quickly and we should control and eradicate it through the awareness among the youth and masses. He also expressed that unfortunately, mostly young lot of the generation is going to effect badly. He also exhorted upon the students to play their role in spreading awareness among the masses to eradicate the Drug addiction.
Prof.Sanjeev Kumar Hod Urdu expressed the vote of thanks to all Prominent among the others who participated in programme include Prof. Anoksha Sharma, Dr Kuljeet, Prof. Shivi Mehra and a large number of students participated and attended the program. |
