| JK budget routine, no relief for suffering sections | | |

Jammu, Feb 5: JKPCC termed the jk budget as routine without any relief to the suffering sections especially the poor- common man, unemployed youth, the daily wagers, pensioners and farmers.
Reacting to the budget, JKPCC said that there is no relief to a large sections of suffering people in Jammu and Kashmir especially the hard pressed common people who bearing the brunt of huge taxes amidst unprecedented price rise and joblessness.
The government is unable to reimburse the GPF, give pensions to old age, widows and physically challenged, grant old pension scheme of employees and regularise and enhance the wages of daily wagers and Anganwadi & others if such category, said JKPCC Chief Vikas Rasool Wani.
He said that government has failed to even release mid day meal funds paid by teachers, several pending MG NREGA workers and contractors. There is a situation of disappointment amongst large population, he added. |
