Early Times Report

JAMMU, Feb 6: Senior BJP Leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, addressed the Samajik Sammelan at Bathindi, Jammu.
The Sammelan was attended by a large number of people, including women from the adjoining areas. Rekha Mahajan, District President Jammu South and Sunil Prajapati, President of BJP OBC Morcha, J&K UT, also spoke on the occasion, enlightening the public about flagship schemes initiated by the Modi Government, including PM Awas Yojna, Ujjwala Yojana, Beti Bachao, Beti Padao, Ladli Beti, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, and Vishavkama Yojana.
Kavinder Gupta, during his address, emphasized the pivotal role of the Modi Government in ensuring justice and welfare for all citizens. He stressed that it is the duty of party workers to disseminate information about the government’s schemes to every corner of society, ensuring that they reach every individual. He highlighted the dedicated efforts of the Modi Government towards the development of Jammu & Kashmir following the revocation of Article 370.
He criticized the previous governments led by NC-Congress and PDP, accusing them of exploiting the sentiments and future prospects of the people of Jammu & Kashmir under the guise of Article 370. He noted the communal divisions deepened during the NC-Congress era and contrasted them with the Modi Government’s efforts to foster unity among people of different religious backgrounds in the region. Gupta underscored the inclusive nature of the Modi Government’s welfare schemes, emphasizing that benefits have been extended to all communities regardless of religion, caste, or creed, in line with the slogan of “Sab ka Saath, Sab ka Viswas, Sab ka Vikas”.
Kavinder urged the public to strengthen the BJP’s hands in the upcoming parliamentary elections to ensure that the promised benefits of various welfare schemes, such as housing under PM Awas Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Shram Kalyan Yojana, and Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, reach those who are yet to avail themselves of them.
Highlighting the importance of ensuring maximum benefits for deserving and impoverished families, he emphasized the goal of providing them with a comfortable and prosperous life through the schemes of the Modi Government.
During the event, Rekha Mahajan addressed the women in attendance, urging them to recognize the numerous welfare schemes launched by the Modi Government specifically for their benefit. She emphasized schemes such as Jan Dhan Yojana, Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao, Ladli Beti, and Ujjwala Yojana as examples of initiatives aimed at empowering women across the nation. Mahajan underscored the importance of women’s support for the BJP to ensure the strengthening of the party and continued benefits from the welfare schemes introduced by the Modi Government. She encouraged women to actively engage with the political process and advocate for policies that uplift and empower them, thereby contributing to the overall progress and development of society.
Sunil Prajapati, who is also the In-charge of Vishavkarma Yojna, threw light on the BJP’s initiative aimed at supporting artisans and craftsmen across the country. He highlighted the significance of the Vishavkarma Yojna, which provides assistance to various skilled professionals including tailors, florists, potters, as well as individuals engaged in professions such as blacksmithing, carpentry, shoemaking, and goldsmithing. He mentioned that the Vishavkarma Yojna Registration Camp, organized by the BJP OBC Morcha Jammu & Kashmir UT, served as a platform for individuals involved in these trades to register and avail the benefits provided by the Vishavkarma Yojna.
Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi for transforming the lives of artisans, Sunil Prajapati, State President of BJP OBC Morcha and BJP State Incharge for PM Vishwakarma Yojna, emphasized the impact of the scheme in changing the fortunes of talented individuals. He underscored that PM Vishwakarma Yojna is a matter of honor for people involved in 18 trades, especially women, highlighting its significance in honoring and providing financial benefits to individuals engaged in various traditional trades.
