JAMMU, Feb 7: Jodhamal School's commitment to sporting excellence was on full display as two talented athletes, Aadya Sambyal and Mugdha Koul, showcased their skills at the 67th National School Games Basketball (Under-19) Girls Championship 2023-24, held in Mumbai. Their representation marked a significant milestone for the school's basketball program, adding to its growing list of achievements in the realm of sports.
Aadya and Mugdha's participation in the prestigious tournament under the banner of Jammu & Kashmir exemplifies their dedication and prowess in the sport. Their selection to represent the state is a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and exceptional talent.
Jodhamal School, known for its holistic approach to education, takes immense pride in nurturing students who excel not only academically but also in various sports and co-curricular activities. In addition to basketball, students from Jodhamal have showcased their skills in national-level competitions across diverse disciplines such as skating, roller hockey, swimming, badminton, and table tennis in the academic year 2023-24.
Vinod Dogra, the coach of the basketball team, expressed his joy and pride in the girls' accomplishments, emphasizing their dedication and commitment to the sport. The school's leadership, including Nandan Kuthiala (Trustee), Arati Kuthiala (Director), Girish Kumar (Principal), and Shefali Sanwal (Vice Principal), extended their heartfelt congratulations to Aadya and Mugdha.
