KISHTWAR, Feb 7: The Senior Superintendent of Police Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom-JKPS, convened an introductory meeting with the media fraternity of Kishtwar district today. The meeting, which took place in the office chamber of SSP Kishtwar, saw the participation of media persons associated with various print and electronic media outlets. During the meeting, a comprehensive discussion was conducted on several pertinent issues of public importance, misuse of social media, ethics of media persons and difficulties faced by media persons on day-to-day basis were raised with a collective call for further fortifying the relationship between the police and media. SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom-JKPS, reassured the media persons that all issues raised during the meeting would be promptly addressed. He also extended an invitation for feedback from the media fraternity regarding working of police in the district, aiming to enhance police efficiency and improve the public service delivery system. Emphasizing the importance of upholding law of land, SSP Kishtwar reiterated that stringent measures would be taken against individuals found violating the law in any sphere of activity. This commitment underscores the authoritie's dedication for maintaining public order and ensuring the safety and security of the residents of Kishtwar district.
