BJP senior leader holds Janata Darbar, addresses development concerns in Kathar

JAMMU, Feb 7: In a proactive move towards addressing community concerns, BJP senior leader and District Development Council member, Pandit Suresh Sharma, convened a Janata Darbar session alongside administrative officials at Panchayat Garatal in Kathar, Jammu.
The event, held in the Maira Mandrain block of Chhamb assembly constituency, witnessed active participation from residents of three Panchayats, who voiced their grievances with earnestness. Pandit Suresh Sharma, acknowledging the challenges faced by the locals, urged the administrative officers present to swiftly resolve the issues raised, resulting in immediate solutions to some of the problems.
Highlighting the pace of development in the region, Pandit Suresh Sharma emphasized the allocation of over Rs 100 crore for new water projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission in each Panchayat. Additionally, efforts to ensure connectivity through pucca roads and fulfill pending demands were underscored. Notably, construction projects such as the long-awaited road connectivity for Guda, Panada Fundwala, and the Gaida Khad to Jerri Bridge road were highlighted as significant milestones.
Speaking on the broader scope of welfare schemes initiated by the Modi government, Pandit Suresh Sharma accentuated the impact of these initiatives in providing housing for millions who were previously without permanent shelters. He commended the government's efforts in addressing the needs of every Indian, emphasizing that development is contingent upon attentive governance that caters to the demands of the populace.
The Janata Darbar witnessed the presence of various administrative officials including BDO Tahir Hafiz, AEEs from Jal Shakti and Flood Control Departments, Naib Tehsildar Tara Singh, and other esteemed dignitaries. Their collective efforts underscored the commitment to fostering progress and prosperity in the region.
Pandit Suresh Sharma concluded with an assurance that continuous endeavors are underway day and night to propel the area towards enhanced development and welfare. The event served as a testament to the proactive engagement of local leadership and administrative bodies in addressing community concerns and fostering inclusive growth.
