| Unemployed engineers demand absorption on ReT pattern | | | Early Times Report
Jammu Feb 21- The unemployed engineers, under the banner of Association of unemployed Engineer’s, who are sitting on dharna outside the Divisional Commissioner’s office since last two years, have voiced their concern over the silence of the government towards their genuine demand. Addressing media persons here today Rajeev Sharma general secretary of the association reminded both the National Conference and the Congress party of their promise during the election campaign that if voted to power they would give first priority to absorb the unemployed engineers. He regretted that though the government has been formed some two months back but nothing has been done to their demand so far. He demanded that all the unemployed engineers who are nearing to cross the upper age limit be appointed on the pattern of Rehber-e-Taleem to save them from further frustration and mental agony. He also urged the legislators to rise above the party considerations and forcefully voice their concern during the ensuing budget session and pressurize the government to accept out demand of absorption on ReT pattern. Ajay Mehra, Kamal Kishore, R.S. Chib, Rajesh Thapa, Rohit Sharma, Arjun Singh, Sohan Mehra, V. Dutta, Iqbal Singh and Amit Magotra were also present on the occasion
