Jammu Feb 21- The students of the management school, Kathua campus, University of Jammu namely Adarsh Gupta and Dr. Jyoti Prakash led by Naresh Sharma, faculty member, won the first prize in the global edge business quiz 2009, held at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. The quiz was organized by Planext Global in association with Tata Indi.Com.
The winning team along with Prof. J.R. Dhotra, Rector, Kathua campus, met the vice chancellor Prof. Varun Sahni, who lauded the team for their achievement.
Earlier, on February 18, fifteen teams participated in the preliminary round and only four were able to make it to the finals.
In the final round, the teams were quizzed with questions related to business management, logo identification, business personalities, corporate etc. The winning team apart from winning trophy and merit certificates was rewarded with photon plus high speed internet devices.
