Jammu, Feb 21- JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School Talab Tillo celebrated its annual day function at Abhinav Theater here today. Peerzada Mohammed Sayeed Education Minister was the chief guest while Zahid Khan Director School education was the guest of honour.
The program began with the lightening of traditional lamp by the chief guest and guest of honour followed by Sarswati Vandana. Welcome song was performed by the students of the school who also presented colorful cultural program..
Earlier, Prof. Mohammed Ayub Sheikh chairman managing committee of the school welcomed the chief guest, parents and other dignitaries and threw light on the quality of education being imparted in this school, besides other facilities provided to the students. Prof. Satish Anand Vice-Chairman managing committee of the school put forth the vision and philosophy of the school.
Sanjeev Gupta managing director of the school highlighted the achievements made in a short span of time.
Speaking on the occasion, Peerzada Mohammed Sayeed said that he was impressed by the meticulous exhibition of excellence depicted by the students of the school who in their performance have dwelt dexterously well with various issues of the concern.
He congratulated the school management for the establishment of such an experimental school in Jammu and also complimented the school management for such a magnificent and latest infrastructure and modem class laboratories.
Zahida Khan while speaking on the occasion appreciated the school management and staff for raising the standard of the students in co- curricular activities besides the academic standards and organizing programs which were not less than the leading schools in India.
Momentous and certificates were given away among the students for their outstanding performance in academic and extra curricular spheres by the chief guest and the guest of honour.
Rajni Gupta Principal of the school presented vote of thanks and assured the parents to bring the standard of the school at its peak as it has already attained the reputation of he one of the best schools in Jammu and also thanked the parents for their whole hearted co-operation.
