Jammu, Feb 21- District Congress committee Ramban and DCC Jammu Urban have hailed the decision of Congress high command for inducting Ghulam Nabi Azad as General Secretary AICC.
In a statement the DCC Udhampur President Bharat Gandhi has thanked the congress president Sonia Gandhi for inducting Azad as general secretary and congratulated Azad for the new assignment. He said that the long organizational experience of Azad will benefit the party in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.
The DCC Jammu Urban in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Om Chopra has expressed gratitude to Sonia Gandhi for nominating Azad MP as General Secretary AICC and reposing complete faith in his ability and credibility. Azad would come up to the expectations of the Congress High Command in galvanizing the party to ensure better outcome in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, the meeting hoped.
