Police Academy concluded a comprehensive five-day training program sponsored by the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), New Delhi. The program, which commenced on January 5th, 2024, witnessed the participation of twenty-two diligent police officers ranging from the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) to Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy.SP), including one female officer.
The training curriculum was meticulously crafted to sharpen the investigative skills of officers and acquaint them with the latest legal provisions, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act, and Information Technology (IT) Act. Esteemed guest speakers, renowned for their expertise, such as Dr. Kavita Suri from the University of Jammu, Ashwani Kumar, Darshan Singh, and Advocate Supriya Chouhan, amongst others, imparted invaluable insights on various pertinent topics.
