| DCC Jammu for proper rapport between organization and executive | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 21- In its self assessment perception, the office bearers of DCC Jammu Urban, observed that though the outcome of the recently held Assembly elections in Jammu East and Jammu West has not been encouraging by any standard, yet it felt that positive efforts should be put in to reach out the voters to enlist their active support to the Congress party’s pro- poor and welfare programs. The ward committees inclusive of the booth committees and block committee which are the mainstay of the party need regular monitoring and active contact to strengthen the fellow feeling by involving the youth and especially the female segment of the society. The meeting was also of the opinion that there is a dire need to rope in the senior members of the party in the wards to dispel their feelings of neglect and alienation. The speakers at the meeting spelled out many valuable suggestions and exhorted to be with their colleagues even for resolution of their personal problems. They also stressed the need of proper rapport between the organization and the executive. The meeting observed that though laudable and historical developmental and administrative works were done by the government led by Ghulam Nabi Azad yet it did not percolate down well due to the tragic and weak links between the party and the executive. The meeting which was held under the chairmanship of working president of the district was attended by general secretaries, block presidents , other prominent persons besides B B Gupta, Jagan Nath Sharma, Madan Lal Malagar, Mohammed Saleem Khan, Rajiv Gupta, Mian Nazir Ahmed, Ram Malhotra, Jagdev Chopra, Yash Pal Jain, Susheel Kumar, Keshva Anand, Pawan Dev Singh and Ramesh Gandhi.
