Te activists of JKNNP presented a memorandum to divisional commissioner and urged upon him that the inhabitant of villages of Mohali, Sundori, Mela, Kana-Chirgal etc in tehsil Samba he saved from land mafia people.
The political secretary JKNPP, Ghulam Ali, Engineer, while addressing said landowner’s with the connivance of police, revenue officials are selling land which include, Khads Shamliat, Pasture land etc. Several families living below poverty line have been compeld to leave the land etc at throwaway price. He demanded immediate restoration of land and order in these villages and save poor people from land mafia persons. Among others who took part in the rally were Naresh Singh Chib, Saleem Sheikh, Mohd Farooq , Lal Hussain, Sobat Ali, Ab Aziz, Sita Ram and Madhu Ram.
