National Youth Parliament Festival 2024: Youth encouraged to engage in virtual deliberations on national issues

JAMMU, Feb 13: Nehru Yuva Kendra Udhampur, under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, is gearing up to host the 5th edition of the National Youth Parliament Festival at the district level on February 20th, 2024. This festival, aimed at fostering youth participation and deliberation on crucial national issues, holds significance in the journey towards realizing the vision of a developed India by 2047.
The District Youth Officer, NYK Udhampur, Khushal Gupta, has extended a warm invitation to young individuals from districts Udhampur, Reasi, Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Leh, and Kargil to actively participate in the virtual event. Emphasizing the importance of this platform, Gupta highlighted the opportunity it presents for youth to showcase their talents and articulate their perspectives on pressing matters.
The festival's theme for 2024, "Young Voices - Engage and Empower For Nation's Transformation," is structured around three pivotal topics: "Making India a global leader - The role of young entrepreneurs in boosting India's economic power," "From Atmanirbhar to Viksit Bharat - Charting India's Growth Trajectory powered by youth," and "Empowering the Future - Youth-led initiatives paving the way for a responsible community."
Participants, aged between 18 and 25 as of February 1st, 2024, will have the opportunity to deliberate on these themes and contribute their
