JAMMU, Feb 13: Last night, police officers at the Nagrota checkpoint stopped a Tata truck with license plate JK02CB-5594. Inside the truck, they found five cows stuffed in without care. The driver managed to escape, but the police caught one person, Mushtaq Mohd, who was helping with the illegal transportation.
The police rescued the cows and took possession of the truck. They've started an investigation into the incident and have filed a case under the law. This kind of mistreatment of animals is against the law, and the police are working hard to stop it.
