JAMMU, Feb 13: American University for Global Peace on Tuesday conferred the doctorate of humanity degree on renowned businessman and social activist Vijay Saraf at an impressive event held at Writers Club, Abhinav Theatre here.
Saraf, who is counted among the top notch businessmen in Jammu, after completing his graduation from Jammu University had done a diploma in industrial management.
He has remained associated with many business, sports and social associations.
Saraf has held prestigious positions like former secretary of Amar Singh Club, Jammu, Advisory committee member of Olympic Association Jammu.
He is advisory committee member of Govt Dental College Jammu, Member of Ethics Committee, Life member of Red Cross Society, Jammu, Member of Dharmarth Trust, Jammu, Secretary of Wushu federation of India, President of J&K Wushu Association, ex- member BSNL Telephone Advisory Committee, ex-nominated executive member of the Chamber of Commerce Jammu, member Citizen Advisory Forum etc.
Apart from being a visiting speaker & participant at many national and state platforms Saraf is also an ace golfer in Jammu.
