| Traffic Violators will not spare at any cost: RTO Kathua | | |

KATHUA, Feb 13: Once again Motor Vehicle Department Kathua has came into action and launched an enforcement drive in Different places of Kathua and Challaned nineteen vehicles and realised fine of Rs 1.29 Lac from the violators on the spot.
According to the report, the enforcement drive launched under the supervision of RTO Kathua Kewal Krishan (JKAS). The team RTO Kathua composed of Jugal Kishore Sharma ARTO, Ranjeev Bhasin MVI with MVD Staff conducted an enforcement drive at Lakhanpur - Kathua National Highway. During the course of checking, the team checked more than 48 vehicles were checked for various offences of MV act 1988 out of which 19 vehicles were challaned/Compounded. An amount of Rs 129000 recovered from the violators on the spot where, an amount of Rs 23000/- is expected out of challans.
RTO Kathua Kewal Krishan appealed to the passenger and commercial vehicles to avoid overloading and follow the traffic Norms while playing their vehicles on road. He also advised to general public to follow the traffic Norms and proper use of crash helmet and seat belt while driving. |
