JAMMU, Feb 14: On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchmi, the Central University of Jammu, under the Patronage of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Office of the Dean Students' Welfare, organized a reverential Saraswati Vandan followed by the distribution of Prasad at the DD Building of CUJ.
The event, marked by spiritual fervor and cultural richness, commenced with Saraswati Vandan, homage to the goddess of wisdom, knowledge, and art. Students, faculty, and staff gathered to seek blessings for wisdom and academic excellence.
Following the Saraswati Vandan, Prasad was distributed amongst all participants, symbolizing the blessings of the deity and fostering a sense of unity and togetherness among the university community.
Prof. Ritu Bakshi, Dean of Students' Welfare and Dr. Vinay Kumar, Associate Dean Students' Welfare expressed gratitude to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement and emphasized the importance of such cultural events in nurturing a harmonious and intellectually vibrant campus environment. |
