JAMMU, Feb 14: In a commendable initiative aligned with the ongoing Special Winter Camp at Government Degree College (GDC) R. S. Pura, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit unveiled an aromatic garden on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami. Led by the esteemed Principal of the college, Dr. Rajni Bhagat, and under the diligent supervision of NSS Programme Officer Dr. Chanchal Angral, the third day of the camp witnessed a transformative tree plantation drive and the creation of a fragrant oasis within the campus premises.
Dr. Rajni Bhagat, inaugurated the newly established aromatic garden by planting the inaugural sapling, symbolizing the college's commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable living practices.
