Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 14: A delegation from the Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA), led by Lalit Mahajan, President of BBIA, recently held a significant meeting with Vinay Sharma (JKPS), the Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba. The meeting, which took place in the office chamber of Vinay Sharma, saw the participation of Tarun Singla, Senior Vice President of BBIA, and Viraaj Malhotra, General Secretary of BBIA.
In a cordial atmosphere, the delegation extended a warm welcome to Sh. Vinay Sharma on his new assignment as the Senior Superintendent of Police in Samba. President Lalit Mahajan took the opportunity to highlight several pressing issues concerning the industrial sector, emphasizing the urgent need for attention and resolution from the police department.
A range of topics pertinent to the industrial landscape of Bari Brahmana was discussed during the interaction. These included concerns such as the deployment of additional police personnel within the Industrial Complex, encroachment on industrial land at Balol Industrial Estate by illegal occupants, and traffic congestion at crucial points like the Industrial Complex and Sidco Chowk Bari Brahmana due to improper vehicle parking practices.
Acknowledging the gravity of the issues raised by BBIA, Senior Superintendent of Police, Sh. Vinay Sharma, assured the members of BBIA that the police department would take all necessary measures to address these concerns promptly. He further recommended that all unit holders within the Industrial Complex consider installing CCTV cameras in and around their premises. This, he suggested, would not only enhance security but also aid in identifying perpetrators in the event of any untoward incidents occurring within the Industrial Complex.
The dialogue between BBIA and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba, reflects a collaborative effort to address challenges faced by the industrial sector. With assurances of support from the police department, BBIA remains committed to fostering a conducive environment for growth and prosperity within the Bari Brahmana industrial hub.
