Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 14: Ravinder Raina, BJP state president, released 'Pulwama,' a short film dedicated to paying tribute to the CRPF martyrs of the Pulwama attack in 2019 on Wednesday.
The film, directed and produced by renowned actress and director Neha Lahotra from Jammu, revolves around the story of a newly wedded couple. The CRPF Jawan in the convoy heading towards Kashmir was attacked in 2019 while his wife was planning to celebrate their first Valentine's Day on February 14.
The film, available on Neha Lahotra's YouTube channel here ( https://youtu.be/rqmTAGl-SYA?si=cBm00Jf9PwgEm_UK), serves as a poignant reminder of the tragic Pulwama attack orchestrated by a Pakistan-sponsored terror organization. Ravinder Raina expressed his condolences to the Martyrs stating, "This film has reminded us about the barbaric attack on our CRPF Jawans by Pakistan sponsored terror organization. We pay our sincere tribute to the soldiers and assured their families that the entire country is standing with them."
He also commended Neha Lahotra for her selfless efforts in creating this short film, emphasizing that she not only paid tribute to the CRPF martyrs but also set an example for the youth to contribute to nation-building in their respective fields. The film received high praise from those present in the auditorium. Neha Lahotra, in her address, shared, "That incident touched me a lot, and by this movie, I tried to present the part of the women whose life was affected by this incident." She expressed that the film is her way of paying tribute to the martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice for the country.
Other contributors to the film include Ashish Sharma & Sonika Jamwal as actors, video shoot and editing by Vikran Mehta of Trinetra Production, concept by Amit Khajuria, and costume & makeup by Sunita Chopra, with management by Sahil Chopra.
