JAMMU, Feb 14: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit Paid heartfelt tribute to the martyrs of Pulwama attack and burnt the effigy of terrorism active in Jammu and Kashmir. Along with this, a demand was made to strong striker on Pakistan and make POK a part of India.
A tribute program was organized at the party state office in Lower Roop Nagar, Jammu. The present state leaders including Chief Manish Sahni paid heartfelt tribute to the Indian soldiers martyred in the suicide terrorist attack in Pulwama on February 14, 2019. After this, Shiv Sainiks hold placards written "Return of PoK is the true tribute to the martyrs" and demanded the same , raised slogans against terrorism and Pakistan and burnt effigies of terrorists operating in the state.
Sahni said in his address that this cowardly act was carried out on 14 February 2019 at the behest of Pakistan. However, soon after this, Indian soldiers gave a befitting reply to Pakistan by conducting a surgical strike. But Pakistan continues its nefarious and cowardly activities. In the last five years, around 200 Indian soldiers have made the supreme sacrifice while fighting the terrorists. 78 Indian soldiers were martyred in 2019, 56 in 2020, 45 in 2021, 30 in 2022 and 31 in 2023.
Sahni said that for how long will we tolerate the martyrdom of our soldiers. The time has come to teach Pakistan a lesson by striking strongly and making Pakistan's illegally occupied PoK a part of India.
It will be a true tribute to the martyrdom of Indian soldiers.
