Reasi police tighten noose on absconders three arrested

REASI, Feb 14: A drive against underground criminals & absconders continue in district Reasi. In round of chase, raids and searches 03 absconding criminals evading arrests since years traced and arrested by teams of district police Reasi.
Absconding Criminal Jamat Ali S/o Siraj Din R/o Maralian, Jammu absconding in case FIR No 51/2022 US 307/353/34 IPC of P/S Pouni is arrested by team of P/S Pouni after 02 years of commission of crime in a case proven against him during the investigation. A general warrant of arrest was issued against him by Hon'ble Court of CJM Reasi U/S 299 Cr.PC.
Absconder Mohd Mukeem S/O Jamil Ahmed R/O Khawas Keri, Teh-Kotranka, Dist.-Rajouri A/P Migrant Camp Talwara Age-21 Years evaded trial proceedings in 04 cases, 1) Case FIR No. 261/17 U/S 457/380 RPC, 2) Case FIR No.121/2020 U/S 457/380 IPC, 3) Case FIR No. 69/2021 U/S 379 IPC, 4) Case FIR No. 138/2021 U/S 457/380 IPC has been arrested by team of P/S Reasi after 05 years of commission of crime. A general warrant of arrest was issued against him by Hon'ble Court of CJM Reasi U/S 299 Cr.PC in 02 cases. The whole operation was led by SHO REASI Ranjeet Rao and SHO Pouni Purab singh under the supervision of DySP headquarter Reasi Neeraj Padyar -JKPS
Absconding Criminal Pawan Kumar Age 37 years S/O Kuldeep Kumar R/O Purana Daroor, Banganga Teh. Katra Distt. Reasi absconding in case FIR no. 116/2022 U/S 376, 506 IPC, 3/4 Posco Act P/S Katra of Police Station Katra got arrested by team of Police Post Banganga after developing a specific information.
Under this drive Reasi Police remained successful in nabbing hardcore, notorious & habitual criminals who were evading the due process of law for years and against whom General Warrants of Arrest were issued by Hon'ble Courts were pending execution.
Mohita Sharma-IPS, SSP Reasiconveyed that arrests of these criminals is important police work to maintain peace and tranquility in the area and Police will leave no stone unturned to arrest and produce them in concerned trial courts of law.
