May Fair Hr. Sec. School Hosts Inspiring Annual Science Projects Exhibition 2023-24"

Jammu, Feb 14: The Activity Hall of May Fair Hr. Sec. School was a hive of activity and intellectual exchange as the school proudly hosted its Annual Science Projects Exhibition 2023-24 on the 14th of February 2024. Themed "Global Science for Global Well-being," the event was inaugurated by Dr. Yasir Hamid Sirwal, Deputy Director of J&K B.O.S.E, alongside distinguished guests including Sh. Munish Gupta, Editor in Chief of Early Times, Sh. Sandeep Sharma, member of the School Management Committee, Sh. Vijay Kumar Basur, Chairperson, Mr. Abhey Basur, Director of May Fair Schools, and Mr. Sunny Nanda, General Secretary of J&K Sports Speed Ball Association.
The exhibition aimed to foster a spirit of scientific inquiry and innovation among students, encouraging them to explore how science can contribute to the well-being of the global community. Students from grades 7 to 12 showcased their creativity and scientific acumen through a variety of projects and demonstrations, leaving visitors impressed and inspired.
One of the highlights of the exhibition was the diverse range of projects on display, which spanned various scientific disciplines including Robotics, experimental setups, and solutions to global challenges. The event concluded with a sense of pride and optimism, as parents, teachers, and students departed with confidence in the capabilities of the next generation of scientists and innovators.
The projects were adjudged based on their innovation, presentation, and relevance to the theme. The winners of the first, second, and third prizes were announced as follows:
First Place:

• Winners' Names: Vanshika & Suraiya (Class 11th)
Second Place:
• Topic/Project: Dialysis
• Winner's Name: Pawana (Class 7th)
• Topic/Project: Smart City
• Winner's Name: Shivam (Class 9th)
Third Place:
• Topic/Project: Phases of Moon
• Winner's Name: Ritu (Class 10th)
• Topic/Project: Renewable Energy Resources
• Winners' Names: Ayushmaan, Kavya, Anish (Class 8th)
The exhibition not only showcased the talent and creativity of the students but also underscored the importance of nurturing a passion for science and innovation from a young age. May Fair Hr. Sec.
